The experiences that Project XX1 creates with the Free Roaming dynamic are among the most intense and complex. Participants are free to explore the space at will and take part in the action when invited. They are usually given a mask to wear for the entire duration of the experience.

The Andolini family are undergone by a shock. A new successful hit makes some of them celebrate, while the others are afraid of repercussions. Augenblick - the instant of possibility
Free roaming 2015-2018
Augenblick is a door through time. A time of the past, a time of war. Pierre Sogol has been missing for months. Lisa, however, continues to perceive his presence, to feel his breath. This gives prof. Peeters the idea of exploiting the situation to his advantage but Marie senses that it would be better to wait before jumping into action. Julie is getting lost in the big house, looking further in the past, while Jakob the butler would like to finally lose himself in the freedom he dreams of. For René, the only way is up.

The Chance
Free roaming 2021
11 young actors are gathered for a special audition, a once in a lifetime opportunity. But the trials they must face are not only about their skills. You are invited to be part of the jury that will evaluate how much they are willing to change in order to catch the chance of their life.
The Chance is a co-production of xx1 and the Academy "Cassiopea". In a month of intensive work, the third and first year students were introduced to immersive theatre and audience interaction by Riccardo Brunetti, Alessandro D'Ambrosi, Anna Maria Avella, and Sandra Albanese.
In parallel, a large team of dramaturgs, scenographers, sound designers, and light technicians worked to turn the Academy itself in the literal and surreal spaces needed for the action.
The Chance was the final acting test for the third year students.
