The Banquet

Rome, IT - 2021

The power keeps under control all the citizens of a future Babel. Poor, confused, and disorganised, they will attempt at a revolution, to regain access to what was stolen from them. The table is set: what will they choose when the moment to pay the price for freedom will come?

The Banquet is one of the outcomes of the project “Training, Knowledge, Education” KA2 - Erasmus+. 12 young artists, struggling daily for expression during the COVID-19 pandemic, participated in the project. A collaboration between Project xx1, JuMBo, and INCA-Catalunya during which the artists attended a series of intensive workshops in Austria, Spain, and Italy.

A collaboration between Italy (Project xx1), Austria (JuMBo) and Spain (INCA - Catalunya).

All Cats Are Beautiful

Madrid, ES - 2019

It’s Siboney’s birthday and she doesn’t appear at all. The previous night, after the police bursted in, she was forced to look for a place to hide and to abandon her friends protection. It was the last time they have seen her. This event cracks San Delfin’s routine, while life is flowing inexorably in a city that is under a new form of siege.

In Grivita

Bucharest, RO - 2016

The project “în Grivita” starts from a research carried out by “Scrie despre Tine” operators, based on collecting stories inside the poor Calea Grivitei neighbourhood, in the heart of Bucharest. After collecting stories, Emanuele Nargi e Riccardo Brunetti have trained the participants to an intensive workshop, culminating into the immersive performance “în Grivita”, followed by more than 500 spectators. The performance has been staged in the street and inside “J’ai Bistrot”, partner of the project.
